Leaping Hare is the home of Thetford Tourist Information Centre. At their offices in King Street you can pick up information on local visitor attractions, purchase tickets for many local events and book tickets for coach travel.
Tickets for our concerts are available from the Leaping Hare office or via their online service (for which there is a small charge).
This is a site run by John Fletcher which is a great help for choirs, providing rehearsal files for choir members with separate voice parts to listen to. Many of the pieces we sing are featured on this site and Thetford Singers has a subscription. Choir members: for log-in details speak to one of the committee members.
Eboracum Baroque is a group of young singers and instrumentalists at the start of their professional careers. The group was formed in 2012 by Chris Parsons (Thetford Singers’ musical director) at the University of York and has performed all across the UK in prestigious venues including St John’s College Chapel, Cambridge and The Temple Church, London.
They were recently described in August 2014 as ‘some of the most promising young singers and musicians around today.’ – Music OMH Magazine.
Thetford Twinning Association was founded in 1992 and works with the town council to organise formal twinning with Spijkenisse in Holland, Les Ulis in France and Hürth in Germany. Follow this link to find out more…
